There's no path, paths are made by walking.

some words.

Hello world! haha I've just came back from Edinburgh and had dinner (some microwave food, as usual.lol). I shall not be like ah Ho and spend forever to blog about the Europe tour.Hah. So this will be a long one. I have been writing during the free nights and this will sum up all of it. This is for the Darling (: and everyone of you, if you care.

September 16, 2008 Hoftgarten, Austria Tyrol
Day 4 in the tour. It’s basically a tour based in the US, only for those age 18-35. Yes, they are ageism. Whatever. For now, I’m sitting in a little chair in my hostel room in Hoftgarten, somewhere in Austria. Bet no one heard about this little town, it’s not far from Innsburk. I totally adore the Hoftgarteners (I made this up.lol) cause they are so amiable and lovable. They wave to you, greet you and say hi to you even when most of them have very poor English language command. That’s why I love people from little towns or friends from kampongs. At least, they care.
I’ve met so many people in this tour, which are mostly the Aussies, Canadians and those from the States. We are the exceptions. All Asians are I supposed. Angmohs are okay; some of them are really bubbly and crazy. But unlike us, they are actually using up their hard earned money to pay up for this trip. That’s typical. I’m just plain lucky.
Back to the tour, the first day was busy traveling across to Belgium via ferry at Dover, London. Crossing by Belgium, we went straight into Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dinner at the hotel was okay, foodie blog later. Yoohoo (: We took a canal cruise along the river with lots of drinking and dancing and crazy shits. What’s installed for us after that is even wilder. We went for a life porno show at the red light district. It was cool. But it’s more of acting than making love, no war. I don’t know, those on stage looked pretty solemn to me. If you like, you can really go ‘window shopping’ at that zone. Pick up a barbie and have a great night. Buy them with plastic bags of course. You wouldn’t wana get infected by toys.
Weather was turning cold. I trembled every time one chilly wind caressed me. More like harassed me. Haha. Day 2 started off walking around Amsterdam with maps. The morning went by passing by Blumen (Flower, tulips!) Market and Sex Musuem, attacking the souvenirs shops but ended up buying nothing (euro, expensive lah ): ). Hopped onto the coach, we had a long ride to erm, St. Goar, Rhine Valley, Germany. Bet you all never heard of it too. It’s a tiny town along the famous wide huge Rhine river. I skipped the wine tasting in the evening (have been drinking EVERY SINGLE DAY, can die) and walked around with SW instead. It oversees a few castles and has a calm, tranquil view. How bad can it be when you ‘sit mountain see river’. Loving it.
Since the tour is covering six countries in ten days (madness), we made our way to Munich, Germany. Toured around the city, watched the world largest cookoo clock tower, went to a beerhall and listened to yoddlers, drank and fell asleep. Coolness. How I wished we had more time to visit a konsentration camp. I like the history in Germany, the Nazis and everything. Sadist I know but it’s amusing, isn’t it?
So today is in Hoftengarten, Austrian Tyrol. It has a beautiful zentrum (central area) with pretty wooden houses everywhere. And APPLE trees! Everywhere! OH, I did white water rafting in the morning and I thought my nose and fingers were gona fall off. Nonetheless, I loved it. Awesome.
Lining up are trips to Venice, Swiss Alps and Paris. I should catch some sleep now and I’m missing you, you and you. A lot, really. I wished to have you people with to cuddle around in such freezing weather. *loves*

September 20, 2008 Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland
Outside my very beautiful and comfy room, tour mates (including my bro) are still drinking, laughing, talking or whatever which I couldn’t bother to chip in. Switzerland is too pretty to drink it away. We went up the Jungfrau Mountain this morning. SNOW! I saw SNOW! We had snow fight! One word, awesome. The wooden buildings here are very much like those in Hoftgarten, very pretty. OH, we stayed in a chalet right beside the mountain (named Top of Europe, height: 3454 m, VERY COLD can die, haha). You can see white washed silky waterfalls flowing down the mountains. Last night, we hiked up one of the trails, passed through some tunnels, slipped a few times and got up to a plateau where we were directly behind the waterfall. It was like shooting stars falling down from the stary night but prettier. The snow, the waterfalls, the mountains are simply breathtaking. Switzerland means much more than what it holds.

September 24, 2008 Glasgow, UK
I’m somehow back on track now in the Uni. The tour was madness but cool. I know so many good people and got myself a place to stay in Australia, Canada, India and many more other countries. LOL. Everything passed by so fast. I couldn’t get hold of it. There are so many things to learn, to play and to experience. There’s so little time. And I have limited energy too. My body is constantly protesting for a really good rest but my brain just doesn’t see that right. I guess I’ll just have to take things slower, one at each time. Glasgow, the streets look identical to those in London; brown, old and dirty. Haha. Aside from that, the architecture, monuments, walls and parks are magnificent. I got a single room (the only type of room provided) on the last floor (which I always do but not off my choice, tq), sharing a kitchen, a bathroom with five MALAYSIAN floor mates. Cool right. Not. Of course I don’t mind the whole Malaysian thing. It’s just that you wouldn’t want to come to Scotland and stay in Malaysia right? I don’t know. *fingers crossed* I feel like calling home.

PS: Just to note, I went to Munich (touristy, largest cuckoo tower clock and freezing; went to a beerhall, Pros!), Venice (longkang everywhere! Gondola rides, beautiful masks and slanted buildings), Luzern (the very sad lion *touched*, wooden bridges and expensive chocolates), White water rafting (BRRRRRR), and Paris (Eiffel Tower, erm pretty when it's blue with glitters, The Lourve, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra Garnier, Latin Quarter, Moulin Rouge, cafe with chairs facing out, NICE ice-cream yada yada, it's the world's most visited city, do I need to say more?). The final note was a French fine dining. The End.

Phew, told you it's super long but copy and paste is not difficult at all. ah Ho should learn frome me.haha. and i did messaged you for you birthday! sucky connections.haha. Anyways, Happy Belated Birthday! *hits on ah Ho's tummy* Pictures next time, i'm so drowsy now.
